The EPWBA founded this program for young women and nontraditional students in our community who have an interest in the legal profession. We want these students to have positive role models they can turn to for any questions and concerns about going to law school and becoming an attorney. Our main purpose is that Mentors and Mentees will create an ongoing dialogue to learn about the legal profession, being a practicing female attorney/judge, and to encourage Mentees to pursue their dreams of attending law school. Another goal is to offer networking for young women who otherwise wouldn’t have any contact with attorneys or anyone in the legal profession before pursuing a career in law.
