Stephanie Zaragoza

Stephanie Zaragoza is a bilingual, bicultural attorney born and raised in the border
communities of El Paso, Texas, and Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. She is passionate
about serving the community that shaped her and is dedicated to advancing access to
justice, mentoring future leaders, and promoting excellence within the legal profession.

Stephanie earned her Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University School of Law in 2016,
where she received the State Bar of Texas Pro Bono and Public Service Award in
recognition of her commitment to serving underserved communities. She began her
legal career with Texas RioGrande Legal Aid before transitioning to private practice.

Today, Stephanie is an attorney with Cesar Ornelas Injury Law, where she represents
individuals and families in personal injury litigation. She is committed to advocating for
those whose lives have been impacted by negligence, helping clients navigate some of
the most challenging moments of their lives with compassion, integrity, and relentless
advocacy.

In 2026, Stephanie was elected President-Elect of the El Paso Women's Bar
Association, beginning a three-year leadership commitment that will culminate in
serving as President of the Association. In this role, she is dedicated to supporting
women in the legal profession, fostering mentorship, promoting professional excellence,
and strengthening the Association's impact throughout the El Paso community. She is
also an active member of the El Paso Bar Association.

Stephanie's commitment to service extends beyond the legal profession. She proudly
serves on the Board of Directors of The Challenge Foundation of El Paso, a nonprofit
organization dedicated to expanding educational opportunities by helping deserving
students attend private schools throughout the region.She believes that investing in
education is one of the most meaningful ways to strengthen the community and
empower future generations.

Outside of her legal practice, Stephanie is a lifelong tennis player and currently serves
as Captain of the El Paso Tennis Club Women's 4.0 Team. Having played tennis since
childhood, she values the discipline, teamwork, and resilience the sport has instilled in
her throughout her life. She is also an avid reader and a lover of live theater, enjoying
opportunities to explore literature and the performing arts.

Stephanie is honored to serve the El Paso Women's Bar Association and looks forward
to working alongside its members to empower women attorneys, foster meaningful
connections within the legal community, and continue serving the border region she is
proud to call home.
